Hey Everyone,
I'm sorry to be sending out this last minute message, but here's some important information about the game tomorrow.
Bob Skelley informed me that the schedule as handed out earlier in the season is wrong for the Waldo game.
The games are as follows:
4:00PM - 8th Graders
5:00PM - 7th Graders
Here's some directions to the game (from CCS).
From: 83rd St & State Route 59 Naperville, IL 60564 US
To: 56 Jackson St Aurora, IL 60505-4300 US
Driving Directions from Calvary Christian School:
1. Leave CCS using 83RD ST heading WEST. (2.51 miles)
2. 83RD ST becomes MONTGOMERY RD. (1.75 miles)
3. Turn RIGHT onto HILL AVE. (1.22 miles)
4. Turn LEFT onto 2ND AVE. (1.00 miles)
5. Turn RIGHT onto JACKSON ST. (0.09 miles)
6. End at 56 Jackson St Aurora, IL 60505-4300 US
Total Estimated Time: 15 minutes
Total Distance: 6.57 miles

Hey Basketball Family,
Well we had a good start to the 2005/2006 basketball season with a win on Friday evening. The game was a great confidence builder and a sign of many more good things to come this season.
Here’s some information about the basketball schedule for the next 2 weeks.
Monday, November 21 – Regularly scheduled basketball practice for varsity, 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
Tuesday, November 22 – Varsity plays at Waldo Middle school in Aurora. I will drive the players in a school van to the game. We will be leaving the school at 3:00pm. Our games at Waldo are scheduled for 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Parents can take their kids home from the game, but I must be notified that you are taking your child before you leave the Waldo gym. Since I will be returning the van to the school, I will be glad to provide a ride back to the school to any student that needs one. However, please let me know if I need to give your student a ride, and provide your cell phone number to arrange pickup.
Thursday, November 24 – Happy Thanksgiving (of course no practice.)
Friday, November 25 – We have a practice planned for 3:00pm to 5:00pm that afternoon. Please e-mail me by Wednesday to let me know whether or not your student can attend.
Monday, November 28 – Regular practice, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
Tuesday, November 29 – Home game verse Medinah. JV at 4:00pm, Varsity at 5:00pm.
Thursday, December 1 – Home game verse Covenant. JV at 4:00pm, Varsity at 5:00pm.
Friday, December 2 - Regular practice, 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Hello Basketball Family,
We just wanted to send out some information about the rest of this week’s schedule, and preparing for our first game.
Thursday, November 17 – We will have practice at our regular time (4:00PM to 5:30PM).
Friday, November 18 – Since we have a game, we will not practice. We want the team to arrive at the St. Rita gym for the game at 6:00PM. Please have the players eat a light meal before the game. It is alright if they are a little hungry while the game is going on, and they will feel much better while playing. Players should bring a water bottle (Gatorade, PowerAde, etc is ok too) to drink during the game.
Saturday, November 19 – The time we play will be based on the outcome of Friday night’s game.
If we win, we play at 12:30PM. Players should arrive at St. Rita’s at 11:30AM.
If we lose, we play at 1:30PM. Players should arrive at 12:30PM.
The same eating rules apply.
